CTG is seeking to fill a BI Developer opening for our client in Houston, TX. Location: Houston, TX Duration: 12 months Duties: Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, data warehouses, and reporting applications using Microsoft BI tools. Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, Power BI Report Builder (Paginated), Power BI Embedded Services, and SSRS. Write, optimize, and maintain complex queries using Power Query, DAX, R, and T-SQL. Implement security features and best practices across BI solutions. Optimize Microsoft Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and deliver effective BI solutions. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all BI reports and dashboards. Skills: Strong expertise with Microsoft Power BI, including Report Builder and Embedded Services. Proficiency in SQL Server programming, T-SQL, DAX, Power Query, and R. Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services). Strong understanding of BI and data warehousing concepts. Ability to implement and manage BI security features. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization of BI solutions. Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in BI development, with emphasis on Microsoft BI tools. Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-level BI solutions. Proven track record in building, optimizing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports. Hands-on experience implementing BI security and governance standards. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
