Leading a team of IT DevOps professionals responsible for application operations, maintenance, and development of Vodafone Czech EDW based on Google Cloud technology.The integration team participates in the complete software delivery process—from business consultancy, requirements shaping, application design and development to testing, release of the product, and 24x7 daily operations.What you’ll do Leading a team of 12 members – system designers, analysts, and developers.Capacity and financial planning for the team.Ensuring both personal and professional development of team members.Responsible for maintaining software engineering standards within the team.Supervising the quality and timing of software deliveries.Cooperating with other departments to deliver a complete end-to-end solution.Defining and leading improvement activities, such as CI/CD, automation in Cloud EDW areaParticipating in IT strategy, Google cloud consumption planning, forecasting, optimization, and application roadmap.Setting up FinOps strategy for Google Cloud in cooperation with infrastructure and architecture teams.Managing EDW vendors; collaborating with our Indian delivery center.Cooperating with Vodafone Business to deliver data products for Vodafone business customers.What skills we need Communication and planning skills.Knowledge of release management flows.Experience with DWH and Cloud environments.Experience with Data platforms operations.Understanding of data transformation patterns.Knowledge of SDLC.Familiarity with Atlassian stack – Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.Preferred knowledge of Google Cloud.Experience in the telecommunications industry is an advantage.Education & Experience:University degree.Total years of experience: 5+Similar lead position years of experience: 2+Core Competencies:Customer oriented.Ambitious.Driven by innovation.One company, local rootsFocused on speed and simplicity.TrusthworthyWho we areWe are a leading international Telco, serving millions of customers.
