Job Title: BI Analyst - Project & Development Services (PDS)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and innovative BI Analyst to join our Project and Development Services (PDS) business intelligence team. This role will be pivotal in transforming complex data into actionable intelligence, supporting our PDS group in delivering projects from beginning to end on our clients' behalf. The ideal candidate will blend advanced analytical skills with business acumen to deliver insights that shape strategic decisions and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
Design data integration from multiple systems into manageable data warehouses and analytic data modelsStreamline and automate reporting through various data connections and coding techniquesDevelop and implement sophisticated statistical models to forecast trends, predict outcomes, and identify opportunities for performance enhancementDeliver high value data interpretation and predictive analysisStrategic Performance Analysis
Analyze performance data to recognize historical trends that can be used to forecast probable resultsLead responses to patterns, turning data into information, information into action and action into valuePerform multi-dimensional analysis to uncover hidden patterns and correlations in project dataDevelop and maintain a comprehensive performance measurement framework, aligning metrics with clients' strategic objectivesData Visualization and Reporting
Architect and implement end-to-end BI solutions, from data integration to front-end dashboardsCreate interactive, dynamic dashboards and reports using advanced features of BI tools (e.g., DAX in Power BI, LOD calculations in Tableau)Differentiate JLL by partnering with our Business Intelligence and Information Technology Organizations to deliver technology solutions that support sales initiativesDeliver high quality, action-oriented, compelling analysis intended to transform project management behaviors and techniquesCross-functional Collaboration
Drive benchmarking analysis while leveraging internal dataLeverage external industry research and analysis while providing insight to leadership on industry trendsLead cross-functional projects, coordinating with IT, operations, and client-facing teams to implement data-driven initiativesDocument business user stories and communicate back to data architecture teamRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Information Technology or related field required. MBA or Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field preferred.4+ years of relevant data analytics work experienceExpertise in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).Demonstrated experience building self-service reporting solutions using enterprise-level BI tool deployments (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) and driving adoption across the organizationExperience with modern data architecture, data integration/ETL, data warehousing, and/or business intelligence deployed in a complex environmentUnderstanding of data and systems engineering concepts to effectively integrate and analyze data to develop actionable business information deliverablesAbility to document business user stories and communicate back to data architecture teamOutstanding communication skills—oral and writtenCreative problem-solving capabilities with ability to drive results and provide relevant solutions to clientsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with process improvement.
