We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Human Resources Benefits Specialist to manage and administer employee benefits programs with a specialized focus on workers’ compensation. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, supporting injured employees through the claims process, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote workplace safety and recovery.
Responsibilities
Working closely with the employees and management on processing the WC claim paperwork.
Monitor and analyze claim trends to identify opportunities for risk mitigation and cost containment
Assists with claims administration, audits, report preparation, and compilation of statistics.
Educate employees and managers on workers’ compensation policies, procedures, and return-to-work programs
Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including OSHA and state-specific workers’ compensation statutes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
4-6 years Significant knowledge in worker's compensation.
Professional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate policies and procedures to all levels of staff and management preferred. (High proficiency)
Advanced understanding of federal and state legislation regarding human resource management programs and practices preferred. (High proficiency)
Experience with Workday (Medium proficiency)
Professional Human Resources - Human Resource Certification Institute Preferred

The starting pay range for this position is:
$84,100.00 - $111,900.00Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
