Benefits Specialist I
The Benefits Specialist assists the Benefits Team in the day-to-day administration of the Company’svarious employee benefits programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Answers general inquiries and provides a high level of customer service to employees regarding benefits and LOA procedures, policies, eligibility rules and regulationsKeeps abreast of the Company’s benefits, including policies, eligibility rules, and general regulationsAssists with the administration of all health and welfare benefit programs, Leave of Absence administration, and other various benefit programsProactively identifies and implements workable solutions to issuesPerforms other duties as assigned/necessaryMinimum Requirements:College degree or equivalent experience in related departmentsAt least two (2) years of benefits administration experience preferredProven knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably ADPComputer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, requiredWorking knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to Human Resources/BenefitsAbility to keep sensitive employee information confidentialAbility to work as an effective team member, including establishing and maintaining positive, professional business relationships with other departments and branch officesExceptional interpersonal skillsAbility to multi-task and work independently within a fast-paced environmentPossess a high level of initiative and ability to work with minimum supervisionAbility to exercise independent judgment and decision-makingExcellent organizational skills with attention to detailADP Enterprise experience a plusAbility to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skillsComputer proficiency requiredPay Information: $23 -$25 per hour + $4,000 annual bonus Maxim Benefits:
