The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the framework design, support, and deployment of financial and non-financial benefits within value proposition for employes focused on analyzing and researching the market competitors to come up with competitive practices, benefits portfolios and variable programs that will boost the engagement of employees. It's responsible for the analysis and implementation of global benefits strategy and programs spanning risk, retirement, and ensures that benefits at PMI are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our strategic goals.

 

Accountabilities

 

Manage broker relation regarding insurance portfolio (renewal, conciliation, controlling, reports, enrollment, and employees’ requests)Design and review benefits framework and programs to ensure alignment with business direction, balancing competitiveness and cost-effectiveness and compliance with local laws and regulation.Proactive monitoring of external trends in global, regional and local benefits programs.Oversee the effective use of market data to recommend competitive, innovative, and cost-effective compensation and benefit plans.Provide expert advice and counseling in all aspects of global benefits programs and HR M&A processes.Manage budgets and financial management of region / global pooling benefit programs to drive savings and synergies.Select and manage third party administrators and partners, including periodic evaluation of performance and conducting vendor requests for proposals.Designs effective benefits communication process, system, and packaging to increase accessibility, transparency and understanding of benefits program and services.Develop and recommend interventions to improve organization health and employee’s well-being.Most of the time is spent on the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree.3+ years of experience in benefits administration.Proven experience managing benefits brokers and insurance policies in Colombia.Advanced level of English.

Preferred Qualifications

 

Experience using SAP.Experience managing benefits in countries other than Colombia, ideally Peru.
