Robert Half is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to manage and support employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and employee satisfaction. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. Key Responsibilities
+ Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, guiding them on eligibility, enrollment, and claims.
+ Process benefits enrollments, terminations, and updates while maintaining accurate records.
+ Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure proper deductions and contributions.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and HIPAA.
+ Conduct regular audits and reconcile benefits data for accuracy and compliance.
+ Partner with HR leadership to evaluate vendors and negotiate contracts for benefit offerings.
+ Prepare and present benefits communication materials, including brochures, presentations, and employee guides.
+ Assist with the coordination of open enrollment periods to drive participation and understanding of benefits programs.
+ Monitor trends in employee benefits and recommend enhancements to stay competitive in the market.
Requirements
+ Proven experience in employee benefits administration or human resources (2+ years preferred).
+ Familiarity with benefits regulations and compliance requirements (ACA, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA).
+ Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and HRIS systems.
+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
