Beacon Hill has partnered with a non-profit organization in hiring a Benefits Administrator to start immediately! This is a contract-to-hire role in the Loop supporting roughly 600 employees with benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, COBRA, 401(k), and wellness initiativesServe as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and provide timely resolution of issuesAssist with open enrollment, benefits communications, and compliance filings (e.g., 5500s, ACA reporting)Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and ensure benefits data integrityLiaise with vendors to troubleshoot problems, process enrollments/changes, and ensure quality serviceCoordinate and process leave of absence requests, including FMLA, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policiesSupport audits, benefit plan renewals, and internal reporting

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR support with a focus on employee benefitsKnowledge of federal and state benefit-related laws (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA)Experience with HRIS and benefits platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar)Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsAbility to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred:
