Benefits Manager

Location:

Secaucus, New JerseyJob Summary:The Benefits Manager will be responsible for ensuring all benefits plans and programs are competitive, cost-effective, legally compliant and supportive of The Children’s Place’s strategic objectives. They will partner closely with the Director, Benefits to drive the overall strategy, design, implementation and communication of the Company’s programs in support of the company’s multiple employee groups in a variety of environments including corporate, retail stores and distribution center. The Benefits Manager will be utilizing advanced technical skills to perform analysis and reporting related to the reconciliation and integrity of benefit plans, testing of processes and system design, and support the auditing of plans for consistent administration and compliance with plan documents and regulations.
Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

Subject Matter Expert on all TCP benefit plans and policies for US, Puerto Rico, and Canada (health, dental, vision, prescription, transit, FSA, voluntary benefits, perks, EAP, 401(k), NQDC, etc.)Support the develop and creation of benefit program strategies for the company with the Director, BenefitsConsult and advise on benefit plans for associates outside of North AmericaDirect the daily activities of the Benefits DepartmentManage relationships with benefits brokers, carriers, and other external vendorsDevelop and drive wellness campaign and programsLiaise with communications teams on marketing & awareness of benefit programs for Corporate, Distribution Center, and FieldAct as a liaison between associates and external vendors to ensure that The Children’s Place service delivery standards are metManage open enrollment activities and oversee all communication materials that are delivered to associates and support associates throughout the processOrganize and coordinate on-site meetings, training sessions, and guidance sessions for associates during open enrollment as well as health and wellness eventsEnsure all programs are in compliance with government regulationsLead all benefits RFPs and maintain responsibility for contract renewals in partnership with the Legal teamOversee administration of leave of absence and serve as backupEnsure all policies are up to date and available for associates on the Intranet; participate in the updating of employee benefits policies

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in human resources or related fieldA minimum of 5 years of progressive experience designing and implementing benefits programsStrong interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence and persuade senior leaders

Skills and Behaviors:

High proficiency in Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of human resource information systems required; Workday and Bswift experience preferredExcellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise mannerMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyMust have an aptitude for business writingMust be proactive in identifying problems and swift in resolving themStrong analytical skills

Hourly/Salary

$75,000.00 - $150,000.00 Salary
