YOUR FUTURE ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Benefits expert to join our Benefits Center of Expertise (CoE) team, focused on the EMEA region. In this role, you will lead the design and scaling of innovative, competitive, and compliant benefits programs aligned with SAP’s global strategy, business needs, and evolving market trends.
Core responsibilities include:
Leadership & Strategy:
Drive global benefits strategy across EMEA by designing, optimizing, and scaling benefit offerings that support talent attraction, retention, and employee well-being Implement global benefits programs and key harmonization initiatives: pension governance, time-off, transportation benefits eligibility, Perks, and recognition frameworks Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement: Lead vendor assessments, selection, and ongoing management for EMEA region Define and monitor performance metrics to ensure optimal delivery standards and cost efficiency Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance employee experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with legal, finance, and other teams to ensure compliance with local laws and SAP’s global policies Collaborate with the Total Rewards Communications Center of Expertise (COE) team to amplify employee value propositions and increase program transparency Act as a strategic advisor to Total Rewards Relations Managers offering expert guidance on complex benefits-related decisions by providing data-driven insights on benefits costs, compliance considerations, and evolving employee benefits design
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Benefits in multiple European countries. Extensive hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing benefits programs across. Leadership and an innovative mindset in benefits strategy, strong expertise in managing external vendors and brokers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. A track record of leading complex benefits projects and successfully executing regional or global initiatives. Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities incross-functional teams. Demonstrated expertise in using data insights to make informed recommendations, optimize program costs, and improve employee experience. Solid knowledge of benefits practices, policies, and legal requirements. Excellent leadership qualities, coupled with strong communication and persuasive stakeholder engagement skills in a matrixed, international setting. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
