Benefits Coordinator

This position requires to be working in office, 3 - 4 days per week, from our Bala Cynwyd, PA office.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Coordinator to join our Benefits team. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing tasks in a fast-paced environment and is motivated to build a career in the HR field, with a focus on benefits administration. While prior benefits experience is a plus, strong administrative skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses Pay and reconcile monthly benefit invoices and coordinate with Accounts Payable and Finance to ensure timely payment and accurate record keeping                  Provide administrative support for employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA/HSA, and retirement plans              Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HRIS and benefits systems where applicable Assist with open enrollment, including employee communications, enrollment processing, and system updates

Education and Experience

Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred 2+ years of administrative or office support experience, preferably in an HR or benefits-related role within a corporate environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) SHRM or CEBS certifications preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data entry and documentation Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Strong written and verbal communication skills Be able to work independently and as a team Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and professionalism

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Repetitive movement of hands and fingers, typing or writing. Occasional standing and walking Talk and hear.
