The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are looking to add a Benefits Concierge to our Human Resources team in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will:
Oversee our medical plan to ensure employees understand and utilize our medical plan with limited issues, working with our vendors to reduce disruption. Work with our vendors to provide ongoing education.
Oversee McKinstry Time Off, FMLA and all related leaves, including compliance with leave laws
Create process documentation to support cross-training and backup support for the Benefits Concierge position.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
Required:
2 years’ experience managing benefit programs
Strong research capability
Ability to take broad instruction and achieve a successful outcome
Strong comfort with and ability to work with ambiguity
Strong customer service with demonstrated care and concern for employees
Strong decision making and sound judgement
Strong ability to draw connectivity between discussions, projects etc. and previous assignments
Must have strong MS Office skills and be above average in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Must have strong communication skills including written and verbal with an ability to draw discussions to conclusion, this includes speaking in front of a group as well as interacting with senior leaders within the company
Preferred:
Intermediate understanding of the leave laws
AA or bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

The pay range for this position is $64,890 - $105,900 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
