As a Benefits Analyst, you will oversee the end-to-end administration of the Leave of Absence (LOA) program for all World Market associates—including those in our stores, distribution centers, and corporate office. This role also includes responsibilities related to Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, and COBRA. You will work cross-functionally with HR partners, HRIS, Payroll, internal leadership, and external vendors, all while delivering exceptional customer service to our associates.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all leave of absence and related benefit programs.Manage the relationship with the third-party LOA vendor, including process oversight and communications.Partner with managers and associates to provide guidance and support throughout the leave process.Administer the entire LOA lifecycle, including coordination of benefits, payments, disability coverage, qualified life events, and COBRA.Analyze benefits programs and processes, staying current with legal and regulatory updates. Recommend and implement improvements as needed.Ensure data accuracy across internal systems (HRIS, payroll) and external vendor platforms.Process employee and vendor payments accurately and on time.Develop educational materials and training sessions for associates and management.Support broader HR initiatives, including corporate and wellness events.

What You’ll Bring

2–3 years of experience administering a multi-state Leave of Absence programFamiliarity with payroll and HRIS systems; experience generating reports and conducting data analysisExperience managing Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, and COBRA programs (preferred)Strong attention to detail and advanced analytical and mathematical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to navigate HRIS and payroll systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organizationProven ability to maintain confidentiality and deliver high-quality customer serviceOutstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentIn-depth knowledge of LOA-related laws and regulations including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and ADAUnderstanding of benefits regulations such as ERISA, HIPAA, IRS Section 125, and COBRA

CA Pay Range is $80,000-$90,000 annually

Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service.
