Description We are looking for a dedicated Benefits Administrator to join our client's team for a multi-faceted contract position! In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in managing employee benefits and supporting accounts payable processes. The team is comfortable training on the accounting processes, and it's a great opportunity to broaden your skillset! Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable entries and conduct research to address inquiries and reconcile statements. • Provide comprehensive assistance during open enrollment, including managing data entry tasks and preparing for benefits fairs. • Handle applications for health, dental, and disability benefits, as well as manage union dues and reconciliation processes. • Assume responsibilities for benefits administration during a maternity leave period, ensuring smooth operations. • Support year-end preparations and contribute to additional projects as required. Requirements • Proven experience in benefits administration or related functions. • Familiarity with accounts payable processes and the ability to learn new systems quickly. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, particularly during open enrollment periods. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation tasks. • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with employees and stakeholders. • Prior experience with open enrollment activities is highly desirable. • Ability to adapt and take ownership of cross-functional responsibilities.
