With a master's degree in organic chemistry or a related field and at least five years of industry experience, you will independently drive process optimization initiatives-enhancing efficiency, improving reaction setups, and thoroughly analyzing experimental data to achieve measurable improvements in the lab. And that’s just the beginning.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT You will collaborate effectively with teams from operations, technology, and sourcing to implement strategies that reduce costs, optimize raw material usage, and assess safety risks in manufacturing processes.Moreover, your responsibilities will include designing and executing experiments focused on both scale-down and scale-up methodologies, ensuring high reproducibility and precision in results.Furthermore, you will be responsible for selecting, handling, and maintaining various laboratory equipment, upholding rigorous housekeeping standards, and adhering to safety guidelines.Accurate documentation is essential, as you will maintain lab notebooks and data records in compliance with established protocols.Additionally, you will compile and analyze experimental data to prepare technical reports and presentations, stay informed about relevant technologies, and contribute to patent applications to secure intellectual property rights for innovative production processes.In your role, you will work closely with internal production teams to implement process improvements, as well as with selected external partners, such as raw material suppliers and toll manufacturers.WHAT YOU OFFER You have a Master degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field and have at least 5 years of proven practical experience in developing and optimizing UV absorber production processes, including a deep understanding of synthesis processes, formulation techniques, and quality control measures.Demonstrated hands-on experience in manufacturing light stabilizers, such as antioxidants and hindered amine light stabilizers, is essential.You are capable of executing complex synthetic reactions independently while adhering to stringent safety protocols in the laboratory.Additionally, proficiency in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of laboratory equipment is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Fluency in English and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, especially with international and multidisciplinary teams, are also key qualifications for success in this role.WHAT WE OFFER A challenging area of responsibility with a high level of autonomy.
