Beloit Warehouse & Receiving Dock Person
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse & Receiving Person to join our team. As a Warehouse & Receiving Employee, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center, which serves both direct-to-consumer and direct-to-dealers channels. Your primary responsibilities will include handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, transporting materials from and to trucks and/or trailers and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to our customers and dealers.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
-Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring products are correctly labeled and packaged securely. Light assembly of products or components using manual labor or small machinery.
-Ensure all received merchandise is properly recorded and stored in the warehouse.
-Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet the demands of both direct-to-consumer and direct-to-retail orders.
-Load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring products are loaded securely and safely for transportation.
-Use hand trucks and forklifts to move materials, and organize the warehouse.
-Work closely with other warehouse team members and communicate effectively to ensure seamless operations.
-Coordinate and work effectively with outside vendors (i.e., delivery drivers, UPS representatives, etc.).
-Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Required:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Able to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines.
-Able to perform basic math.
-Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely. Must be able to back into trailers for loading and unloading.
-Forklift or heavy machinery certification.
-Able to read and write in English as well as follow verbal instructions. Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
-Demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
-Regular and reliable attendance
-Ability work overtime based on business needs
-Location and in office expectations: Required to work onsite full time in the Beloit, WI site.
Preferred:
-Previous experience in warehouse operations
-Previously worked at BRP.
-Experience using WMS, ERP or similar systems.
-Hazardous materials training, as needed.
-Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
-Able to enter data into established computer programs, create simple work processing and spreadsheet documents as well as complete other computer related tasks.
