CaroMont Health is hiring an Outpatient Full-Time Mammography Tech II to work Day shifts within our Imaging Services team at the CaroMont Imaging Services-Belmont MOP in Belmont, NC! Schedule: Full-Time(Monday-Friday) Shift: 4 (10's):7:00AM-5:00PM About CaroMont Health CaroMont Health is a 476-bed hospital located in Gastonia, North Carolina with a Level III Trauma Center, State-of-the-art birthing center with level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Nationally-accredited Cancer Center and Cancer Care program, Freestanding Emergency Department in Mount Holly, North Carolina Network of over 50 primary and specialty care physician offices and a 66-bed hospital in Belmont, North Carolina. Mammography Technologist II Roles and Responsibilities: + Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography as well as breast localizations and specimen x-ray. Assist with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures. + Maybe required to staff the Mobile Mammography Coach and provide coverage for mobile events, some of which are outside routine business hours. + Meet MQSA and ACR requirements. Maintain < 2.5% repeat rate. + Perform spot magnification and compression views as needed. + Properly place films on multi-multiviewer for interpretation. + Maintain accurate and complete information /records for MQSA and ACR. + Accurate and thorough documentation of patient records in the organization's electronic health record system. Required Skills & Qualifications: + Graduate of an accredited Radiography program. + Registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography. + Minimum 6 months experience in mammography. + Maintain CE requirements in the field of mammography as well as Radiology. + No lifting greater than 20 pounds required. + Occasional push-pull, of stretchers. + Limited overhead work required. + Ability to organize and maintain supply inventory. + Some computer skills required. + Through knowledge of testing procedures related to mammography, including sterile procedures.
