The Behavioral Health & Wellness Manager for Community Based Services (CBS) long-term residential and vocational services will play a pivotal role in improving the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and co-occurring disorders. This position offers a chance to blend creativity with clinical knowledge. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with strategic leadership by designing systems of care that are creative, person-centered, and built to improve long-term outcomes for some of Minnesota’s most complex and resilient individuals. As a key member of the Direct Care & Treatment (DCT) – CBS Leadership Team, the Behavioral Health & Wellness Manager will: + Lead and grow a statewide behavioral health team. + Champion evidence-based, trauma-informed, and equity-driven practices. + Develop and standardize clinical protocols that promote consistency and quality. + Foster a team-based, whole-person approach that integrates clinical, vocational, and educational supports. + Shape strategy and represent behavioral health in statewide planning efforts. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership across CBS’s vocational and long-term residential services, ensuring equitable access to behavioral health resources, promoting positive mental health and wellness practices, and serving as a representative for non-medical behavioral health services in policy and planning discussions. AND + Three (3) or more years post licensure experience. AND + Possesses either a specialized certification or received specialized training in a recognized sub-area of Psychology to include, but not limited to: + Forensic Psychology + Professional Geropsychology + Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology + Clinical Neuropsychology + Rehabilitation Psychology + Child & Adolescent Psychology In addition to the above, applicants must have demonstrated knowledge and application of the following: + Significant specialization in leading mental health systems of clinical care and evidence-based treatment. + Competence and experience in providing clinical direction and oversight in mental health organizations and residential and vocational programs. + Identifying, developing, and implementing large-scale budget management. + Experience developing and implementing strategic plans critical for future planning. **Preferred Qualifications** + Supervisory and management experience is highly preferred. + Experience with Allied Health Professional credentialling process. **Additional Requirements** To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
