Job Summary:

- Provide direct oversight of day-to-day activities
- Monitor health and vital signs, intervene/respond to crises
- Facilitate group education and structured activities
- Transport clients/patients as needed

Key Responsibilities:
- Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients
- Ensure monitoring of vital signs and recognize when to escalate to medical intervention
- Oversee medication administration and adhere to all medication policies
- Facilitate client/patient supervision checks and report any concerns to the treatment team
- Assist clients/patients with personal care and daily activities as needed
- Document and report any exceptional behavior or areas of concern related to client/patients
- Prepare for and facilitate group rehabilitative support and education sessions
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of confidentiality laws governing substance use and mental health treatment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to document accurately and follow instructions
- Basic keyboarding skills and proficiency in using electronic medical records
- Ability to establish rapport with clients while maintaining professional boundaries
Experience and Education Qualifications:
- High School education or equivalent and two (2) years of responsible employment
- Experience in Human Services or a related field preferred
- For Residential Care Facility (RCF): Become credentialed as a Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) within the first 90 days
Employment Requirements:
- Successful completion of background check
- Completion of New Hire Orientation within 30 days of employment
- Certifications in First Aid and CPR within the first three months
- Behavioral Management training completed within 30 days of employment
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
