The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Why Work With Us?? As a Behavior Technician in schools, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioral challenges and fostering a positive learning environment. Here’s what you’ll do:
? Implement Behavior Plans – Follow structured intervention strategies designed by specialists to reinforce positive behaviors. ? Provide Direct Student Support – Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who need behavioral interventions. ? Monitor & Document Progress – Track behavioral improvements, record data, and adjust strategies as needed. ? Collaborate with Educators & Therapists – Work alongside teachers, therapists, and caregivers to create supportive environments. ? Assist in Crisis Intervention – Use proven techniques to de-escalate situations and ensure student safety.
