Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Schedule may require flexing to stay until 6:00pm based on program needs. Hourly rate based on relevant years of experience

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible to: Clinical Services Supervisor
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), this position is responsible for modeling and carrying out behavior support plans (BSPs), which could include teaching various skill building or behavior reduction techniques with children and young adults. They will also assist with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), collect data and provide training to caregivers so they can ensure follow-through at home.
Essential Job Duties:
Provide a positive and nurturing environment for children and their families Assist LBA with the development of FBAs Assist LBA with the creation of BSPs Teach specific skills required for skill acquisition and/or behavior reduction as outlined in the child’s BSP Participate in consultation and meeting sessions Answer questions from children and their families Observe child behaviors to collect data Inform parents and other caregivers about behavioral intervention findings Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.Skills:
Demonstrate knowledge of basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Natural ability to connect with children and parents Good time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skillsMinimum Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalentMinimum Experience Required:
At least 3 years’ experience working with children and families preferredLicense/Registration/ Certifications Required:
Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred
