Description
The ALC is a therapeutic special education school for children facing educational, emotional, and behavioral challenges serving children in small class sizes with a maximum number of 80 children
The ALC Behavior Analyst collaborates with educators to assess and develop behavioral interventions for students with disabilities in schools. The Behavior Analyst coordinates support in the development and delivery of services to address the social, emotional, and behavioral learning and needs of students.
Responsibilities:
+ Familiarity with social-emotional learning, tiered behavioral programming, and intervention services.
+ Knowledge of current research, trends, and best practices related to behavior intervention.
+ Responsible for conducting FBAs and creating/implementing BIPs across the educational setting.
+ Ability to implement evidence-based practices.
+ Collaborates with classroom teachers to facilitate instruction and learning.
+ Provides suggestions and support for all staff to implement and track behavior plans.
+ Serves as member of CSE team.
+ Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
+ Demonstrates the ability to manage and collaborate with therapeutic support counselors.
+ Ability to work effectively within the school setting with students, staff, and families.
+ Fulfills agency expectations corresponding to the agency Core Values.
+ Complies with agency requirements for this position regarding certification and physical capabilities.

Requirements
· BA/MA or BS/MS.
· Must hold a certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).
Salary Description
$50,000-$55,000/yr
