We are currently hiring a Childcare Program Manager to oversee our sites within the state of Alabama consisting of Before/After School Programs and Summer Programs. Driving on your successful experience and high standards, this candidate will foster creating and maintaining a loving and nurturing learning environment for children while overseeing licensing, business administration, marketing, and the financial and enrollment operations, as needed.



HOURLY: $25.00 per hour

STATUS: Part-time, Non-Exempt

REPORTS DIRECTLY REPORTS: Executive Director



JOB CONSISTS OF:

Manage all aspects of licensing the School Age program with a special focus on:

Gathering all paperwork requirements to successfully license up to 27 sites.Attend site license visits, as needed.Attend licensing workshops, webinars as needed to stay consistent in Alabama rules and regulations.Work with site admin and facilities to ensure items requiring immediate corrections are handled timely to ensure no delay in licensing of the programs.Follow and adhere to DHR rules and regulations.Monitor and track enrollment numbers for all sites.Aid with DHR subsidy, as needed.Assist with enrollment paperwork, as needed.Prevent problems with proactive management and handle those that happen in an effective, positive manner that emphasizes good communication.Ability to complete license renewals for programs in state as required by the Executive Director.Keep host schools informed of any licensing updates timely and as needed.Liaise with other departments, senior management, program staff, and parents. Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

19 years of age.Superior administrative and organizational skills.A high school diploma or GED, 120 clock hours of training in childcare, and at least 12 months of work experience in a childcare program.A child development associate credential (CDA) or a certified childcare professional certificate (CCP) from the National Child Care Association Inc. (NCCA), a high school diploma or GED, and at least 12 months of work experience in a childcare program.An associate degree in child development or early childhood education from a post-secondary school, and at least nine months of working experience in a childcare program.A bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood education and at least six months of work experience in a childcare program.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Must be medically fit to perform job duties.Professional, reliable, passionate, and prompt with a warm, friendly, caring and upbeat personality.Excellent time management skills.
