Acting as the liaison between customers and packers, you will play a critical role in balancing the needs of both parties to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes. This position requires a high level of travel, up to 95%—and is best suited for a self-motivated, driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-focused environment. Responsibilities: Negotiate prices with packing plants for weekly show listsSupport and answer customers’ questions / needs during the cattle marketing processNetwork and acquire new clients in a set territoryManage marketing show lists between clients and packer buyersRecommend and discuss hedging and risk management strategies to clients to protect riskQualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Animal Science or related field experience in the cattle industrySales and client management experience in the Ag industry is preferredSelf- starter, hungry for business developmentNegotiation skillsStrong Communication skills, being able to build relationshipsStrong organizational skills are preferredKnowledge of the beef industry and risk management strategiesLRP & Hedging knowledge is a plusAbility to travel 95% of the timeBenefits and Perks (if hired permanently): Full benefit package – Health, Dental, Vision, etc..401 K w/ 6% matchTier Commission plan based on Sales Numbers & Profit Margins Your New Organization:Livestock Marketing & Lending Staple based out of Omaha, NEYour Career Partner: The Reserves Network, a veteran-founded and family-owned company, specializes in connecting exceptional talent with rewarding opportunities.
