The Position

What do we offer?

 

To be part of a new cohort of the Roche-CEU San Pablo postgraduate degree as an expert in the Pharmaceutical Industry. 11 months of internships at Roche where you will participate in challenging projects and benefit from pioneering postgraduate training in the market about the pharmaceutical industry.

You will have the opportunity to get on the job training by working on key projects with your designated department from Monday to Thursday and attend in person postgraduate classes at the university on Friday. 

Our main location is Madrid, we are open to applications from all over Spain but relocation will be needed as part of the program expectations. Office attendance is expected (with some flexbility) to enjoy the connection to our colleagues, network and get exposure. 

 

Last but not least, you will have mentorship by a Roche tutor who will give you continuous feedback to develop your professional skills. The mentors for the program are Roche's senior and experienced young talent development professionals.

Purpose of this internship?

We are seeking a motivated and analytical intern for our supply chain optimization project. The intern will work on the aggregation of customer orders, contributing to a project that impacts public hospitals and private clinics.

What would be your main responsibilities as an intern?

Project Support: Provide direct support in the development of the supply chain optimization project.

Testing Collaboration: Assist in the creation and execution of tests within a testing environment, including interfaces with ERP/SAP S/4HANA.

Documentation Management: Develop and manage documentation associated with the project.

Innovative Perspectives: Offer fresh perspectives to challenge and improve existing processes within the organization.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including internal teams (Customer Care, HSP/SHE) and external clients.

Implementation Strategy: Contribute to the strategy for implementing the new operational model across different hospitals and communities.

Knowledge Acquisition: Spend the initial part of the internship learning about logistics management systems and pharmaceutical transportation strategies.

 

What are we looking for in this position?

Graduated in Engineering, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Robotics, or Artificial Intelligence.

A master’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain from a business school or a master's in Data Analytics or AI will be highly valued.

Strong analytical abilities and understanding of complex processes.

Capable of challenging the status quo and improving existing systems.

Team player with a problem-solving mindset.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with different stakeholders.

We are looking for flexible talents that adapt to changes and are willing to collaborate with teams in a network organization. 

Advanced level of communication in English and Spanish.

Desirable to have international experience as a student or working abroad.

Passion for improving the lives of patients and motivation to give the best of yourself in an innovative and challenging environment.

Commitment to dedicate yourself full time to the program from September 2025 to August 2026.

For international students, have a valid NIE or work permit in Spain.
