Position Overview
The Beauty Advisor role is designed for someone passionate about people and customer service, with experience in retail, makeup, and training. The ideal candidate must be a strong seller, capable of engaging, advising, and closing a sale while adhering to retailers’ rules and standards.
A Beauty Advisor should consistently achieve sales targets and be open to coaching from the ABH leadership team. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to establish collaborative relationships both internally and externally. A passion for customer service, artistry, and a business mindset is essential for success in this role.
This position is a 3 months contractual position with the possibility of converting to a full time role
Key Job Responsibilities:
+ Deliver exceptional customer service, building lasting relationships to drive customer loyalty and upselling opportunities.
+ Be responsible for achieving personal targets and KPIs.
+ Provide regular product updates to keep the staff informed and engaged, ensuring continuous brand visibility and sales support.
+ Apply coaching feedback and receive constructive input professionally.
+ Support the team in meeting visual merchandising standards.
+ Ensure the proper maintenance of the workspace on a daily and weekly basis, including:
+ Restocking,
+ Managing testers
+ Monitoring stock levels and reporting out-of-stock products.
+ Maintain strong communication with in-store teams (managers, sales associates, store directors, and other brands) to foster synergy and a collaborative work environment.
+ Adhere to the ABH dress code while continuously evolving looks to reflect current trends.
+ Meet deadlines by ensuring accurate daily reporting, including but not limited to sales performance, customer insights, competitors information and stock update
Requirements:
+ 3-5 years of experience in cosmetic retail sales, preferably in a fast paced environment.
+ Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build trust-based relationships with clients.
+ Track record of overachieving personal sales targets (KPIs).
+ Ability to work collaboratively and build positive and effective business relationships with leadership and colleagues.
+ Excellent communication skills and strong in-store customer relationship management.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in meeting deadlines and completing administrative tasks (reporting, feedback, stock monitoring).
+ Upholding a positive, and professional presence at all times
+ Self-motivated, confident and goal oriented.
+ Majority of time is spent in-store, with the exception of team meetings or 1-on-1 meetings with direct managers which can be taken from an outside store environment.
+ Comfortable working in a Sephora environment.
