Role Overview:
A BDR Manager at Skyhigh Security manages and develops a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), focusing on building inside sales skills and driving revenue generation through prospecting, lead qualification, and appointment setting. The BDR Manager is responsible for training, onboarding, and performance management of their team, ensuring they achieve their sales goals and contribute to overall company success.About the Role
The BDR Manager at Skyhigh Security manages and develops a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), focusing on building inside sales skills and driving revenue generation through prospecting, lead qualification, and appointment setting. The BDR Manager is responsible for training, onboarding, and performance management of their team, ensuring they achieve their sales goals and contribute to overall company success.
This role is based in Cork, Ireland with a remit to build a small, focused team in key locations globally.
Responsibilities
Team Management:
Onboarding, training, and coaching BDRs to develop their inside sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, objection handling, and appointment setting.
Performance Management:
Monitoring BDR performance, providing feedback, and implementing strategies to improve their effectiveness and productivity.
Sales Process Development:
Working with the sales team to develop and refine sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, and nurturing.
Lead Generation:
Identifying and generating leads through various channels, including online marketing, events, and referrals.
Revenue Generation:
Driving revenue growth by ensuring BDRs are effectively closing deals and meeting their sales targets.
Training and Development:
Developing and delivering training programs to enhance BDR skills and knowledge.
Collaboration:
Partnering with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to align sales efforts and achieve business objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
Leadership: Ability to motivate, coach, and manage a small team of BDR professionals internationally (ideally globally).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales and sales management, ideally within a B2B or cybersecurity context.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve sales performance.
Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of Security products and services.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the cybersecurity market and trends.
Training and Development: Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
CRM Experience: Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
