Role Summary
The Senior Manager – Business Analyst will lead end-to-end delivery of core banking transformation programs across global markets. This role combines deep domain expertise with strategic leadership, innovation, and business development. The candidate will work closely with EY partners, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to shape solutions, accelerate delivery, and grow EY’s BCM footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Domain Expertise Lead full lifecycle delivery of core banking transformation projects—from pre-sales to post-implementation. Define and document business requirements, functional specifications, and solution architectures. Collaborate with product owners, architects, and technology teams to ensure alignment with business goals. Drive innovation by creating accelerators, reusable assets, and frameworks to streamline implementation. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and banking best practices. Prepare and present project reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to internal and external stakeholders. Domain Focus –Cash Management, Retail & Commercial Banking Deep expertise and experience in implementing an end to end Cash Management solution for a client Target Balancing Notional Pooling Virtual Accounts Expertise and experience in implementation of Retail Banking products and processes: Deposits, Savings, Current Accounts Lending (Personal Loans, Auto Loans, Credit Lines) Payments – SWIFT, SEPA and other country specific payments Digital Onboarding, KYC, Customer Journeys
Expertise and experience in implementation of Commercial Banking products (any or all): Corporate Deposits, Commercial Lending, Syndicated Loans Mortgages, Trade Finance, Treasury Operations Wealth Management, Investment Products Payments, Collections, Reconciliations Ability to map business processes to core banking functionalities and identify transformation opportunities. Strategic Leadership & Business Development Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for core banking and digital banking offerings. Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and client proposals, ensuring strategic alignment and competitive positioning. Conduct roadshows, client workshops, and demos to showcase EY’s capabilities and solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with EY member firms, global clients, and fintech partners. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue generation and pipeline growth. Innovation & Thought Leadership Lead innovation initiatives within the BCM team, including accelerator development, process optimization, and digital enablement. Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes. Represent EY in industry forums, conferences, and thought leadership platforms. Team & Talent Management Build and lead a high-performing team of business analysts and consultants. Drive talent acquisition, onboarding, and capability development aligned with strategic goals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Mentor junior team members and support career progression Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting Directly report to multiple EY partners and senior leadership. Manage stakeholder expectations across geographies and business units. Prepare and deliver status reports, risk assessments, financial forecasts, and strategic insights.
Required Skills & Experience
12–18 years of experience in business analysis and banking transformation. Proven expertise in implementing core banking platforms: Finacle, Temenos, FIS, or next-gen solutions like Mambu, FintechOS, 10x, Atom. Strong understanding of retail and commercial banking products, operations, and compliance. Experience in global delivery models and multi-country implementations. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, Agile Product Owner, or equivalent. Experience working with Tier-1 banks and large-scale transformation programs.Why Join EY?
