What You'll Do

We are seeking a candidate with experience and passion to join the BCG X Global People and
Development Assistant position in X Delivery located in Gurgaon.
Key responsibilities include:

 

Career Development (CD):

Coordinate and support the CD process: Manage scheduling and preparation for bi-annual CDC meetings, including maintaining the planning file, organizing the order of discussion, tracking dossier status and ensuring all participants have the necessary CDC invitesDocument and track CD outcomes: Capture meeting notes, monitor CDC outcomes, and ensure the workday is consistently updatedManage manual feedback in Workday: Initiate feedback (feedback foundation, line manager, and case-related) and collaborate with the staffing team to confirm case information is accurate for triggering the appropriate feedbackOversee feedback cycle: Review and approve feedback in a timely manner, track completion, and follow up with reviewers to ensure all case feedback is submitted

Employee Life Cycle/HR: Coordinate and support HR processes including but not limited to

Onboarding - Schedule monthly mandatory onboarding sessions and track attendanceProbation – Ensure line managers complete the feedback foundation feedback linked to probation confirmationAbsence Management – support LOA requests ensuring compliance with local policiesExit – Manage employee exits in accordance with local policies, maintain the exit tracker, conduct exit interviews, document notes, and escalate relevant inputs as needed

Other Activities:

Manage shared mailbox and ensure timely resolution of incoming queriesPrepare and update regular reports (e.g., headcount, reduced capacity, LOA) as well as ad-hoc reporting needs, ensuring accuracy and timely deliveryConduct regular data audits, including CDA tracker, exits, and transfersSupport the preparation of global P&D-related communicationsCoordinate and support with the issuance of promotion, compensation, and year-end bonus memos

Collaboration:

Work closely with local HR teams to understand office-specific practices and ensure effective management of the employee life cycle (e.g., absences, reduced capacity, exits, and administration of local benefits)Escalate potential employee relations concerns, ensuring appropriate alignment and collaboration with business stakeholders, P&D leadership, and X BST regional HR team

What You'll Bring

1-2 years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably in a
people functionA bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred or equivalent to relevant work
experienceSome experience in HR systems such as workday beneficialExperience in standard MS Excel, Outlook and digital collaboration tools
