**Description** SAIC is looking for a **Battery Test Engineer** to support the US Navy in **Crane, IN** . **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Support airborne lot testing, and space applications, including programming files as well as supporting some vibration testing + Become proficient in proper battery test methods, i.e. monitoring points, switching, circuit protections, wattage management, time correlation, etc. + Apply logical/practical physicist application focus, not theoretical focus + Perform Big Data analysis to obtain predictive analysis, identify indicators of known and emerging failure modes as well as better predict end of life characteristics of lithium-ion aircraft as well as space cells/batteries and chemistries of all batteries + Assist other analysts in using these analytic platforms on occasion + Present findings, approaches, and processes to the team **Qualifications** **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:** + Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years’ experience; Masters and 0 years’ experience + Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and work well independently and as part of a team + Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
