**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Batcher will batch product using computer or manual controls using proper mix and making necessary raw material adjustments while providing excellent customers service to our internal as well as external customers.
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
+ Using computer or manual controls, efficiently batches product with proper mix and making necessary raw material adjustments as directed by the QC Department.
+ Understand the proper use of each mix design.
+ Completes customer orders, schedule deliveries, paperwork and small plant maintenance.
+ May run front end loader or other material handling equipment to charge plant with aggregate, sand or other materials. .
+ Ensures that safety, quality, compliance, environmental requirements are followed at all times.
+ Effectively communicates with the drivers to efficiently complete customers’ orders.
+ Ability to schedule deliveries to meet the customer needs and maintain daily inventory and month end inventory reports
+ Works with Quality Control on mix adjustments as well as strengthening the product.
+ Must be able to perform batching with accuracy, and have the ability for tracking dry ups, and on hand material..
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
**Education:** High school diploma
**Required Work Experience:** 3-5 years
Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic experience using computers. Experience using dispatch and trucking software preferred.

+ Excellent oral (telephone) communication skills.
+ Ability to professionally interact with internal and external customers.
+ Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
+ Able to prioritize work; strong organization skills.
+ Ability to keep calm in stressful situations.
