Location: Binghamton, NY Category: Athletics Posted On: Mon Aug 11 2025 Job Description: Budget title: Division I Assistant Coach (SL-2) Salary: Commensurate with experience Binghamton University, a NCAA Division I institution, and member of the America East Conference, is seeking a Pitching Coach. The candidate must have experience as a collegiate, Major League or Minor League pitching coach and documented experience in the recruiting, development and evaluation of pitchers. The candidate will be responsible for player instruction, while conducting practices and workouts in an effort to improve player performance in the area of pitching. Candidates must have documented experience with: + Skill development training and performance for all pitchers. + Using analytics, technology, game film review and evaluation, and scouting techniques in order to prepare pitchers for competition. + Game planning and pre-game preparation. Reviewing and evaluating pitcher performance and developing post-game strategies in order to ensure player success. Job Requirements: + Bachelor's degree + Experience as a collegiate, Major League or Minor League pitching coach + Experience in the recruiting, development and evaluation of pitchers + Experience in the development, training, and performance in the area of pitching + Experience using analytics, technology and scouting techniques + Experience executing pre-game, in-game and post-game strategies to ensure success Preferred: + Master's degree Visa sponsorship is not available for this position Additional Information: Offers of employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and verification of degree(s) and credentials.
