Summary McCoy's Community Center is the central hub of activity at Fort McCoy. This large facility includes Dining Operations, Sports Bar, Bowling Center, Recreation and Leisure Activities and Conference and Catering Spaces. The McCoy's Community Center Team provides high-quality service and a place to unwind for the Fort McCoy Community. Announcement will a have a first cut office date of July 23, 2025. Responsibilities Follows established procedures in operating a full-service bar, mixing and serving a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips. Receives and checks quantity and description of stock. Stocks bar, utensils, equipment and keeps work area clean and sanitary. Keeps record of quantities of beverages dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor. Uses tact and courtesy to deny further sales to persons whose conduct has become unruly or who appear to be intoxicated. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. Must meet state local age requirements for the serving of alcohol at the time of appointment. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds. Possess math skills necessary to calculate bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages is required. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
