Job DescriptionThis is a tipped position. Banquet Bartenders provide excellent offerings in mixology to guests at hotel events. In addition to ensuring an engaging and welcoming experience to guests.
Responsibilities
Open and close the banquet bars on a scheduled shift
Provide beverages as ordered by guests
Use hand held cashiering Point of Sales System
Collect payment for cash or credit paying bars
Maintain consumption tracking for open bars
Maintain bar inventory levels
Participate in all beverage controls to include pours and over consumption of alcohol by guests
Secure all liquor upon closing the banquet bar
Follow TIPS safety protocol in handling and preventing intoxication
Report all concerning activity to management
QualificationsRequired to have minimum 2 years experience as a bartender in a full service fine dining bar or restaurant.
Mixolgy expertise
Bartending certifications is preferred.
TIPS and Food handlers certifications are required
Excellent knowledge in mixology is a must.
Bilingual is a plus.
Must be engaging while working under pressure in a high volume setting.
Experienced with cashiering and micoros.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Bartenders may facilitate server duties as needed.
Require ability to work a flexible schedule, all shift availability weekends & holidays. Able to stand entire shift, lift 100lbs
