As a Bartender at Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, you will create memorable guest experiences by crafting exceptional beverages and providing warm, intuitive service in line with Waldorf Astoria’s legendary hospitality standards. You will demonstrate a passion for mixology, a deep knowledge of spirits, and a commitment to delivering world-class service in a stunning island setting.

\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n\n

Prepare, mix, and serve beverages to guests, upholding brand standards and presentation guidelines.

\n\n\n

Deliver personalized, engaging service and build rapport with guests, ensuring their preferences are remembered and exceeded.

\n\n\n

Maintain stock levels, ensure proper storage of bar inventory, and monitor product expiry dates and quality.

\n\n\n

Follow proper hygiene, health, safety, and sanitation standards in all work areas.

\n\n\n

Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, utensils, equipment, and surroundings at all times.

\n\n\n

Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly, escalating when necessary.

\n\n\n

Process guest orders accurately through the POS system, ensuring correct billing and cash handling procedures.

\n\n\n

Contribute to achieving departmental revenue targets through upselling and promotional initiatives.

\n\n\n

Support the creation and execution of new beverage menus and promotions in collaboration with the Bar Supervisor and F&B leadership.

\n\n\n

Maintain a strong knowledge of all menu items, promotions, hotel facilities, and local attractions to assist and engage guests.

\n\n\n

Work closely with the F&B team to ensure smooth service flow and communication.

\n\n\nQualifications & Requirements:\n\n\n

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Bartender in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end restaurant environment.

\n\n\n

Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.

\n\n\n

Mixology certification or formal training is an advantage.

\n\n\n

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

\n\n\n

Ability to work in a remote island setting and adapt to an international team culture.

\n\n\n

Positive attitude, professional grooming, and a proactive, flexible approach to guest needs.

\n\n\n

Proficiency in spoken and written English; additional languages are an asset.

\n\n\n

Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
