Overview At Cambria Downtown Austin, our baristas bring energy, warmth, and hospitality to every guest interaction. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and light food items while ensuring a welcoming and efficient service experience. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and a passion for both guest service and beverage preparation. Our baristas also assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting café environment that reflects the standards of Cambria Hotels. Qualifications Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service/food & beverage role preferred. Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation techniques, or willingness to learn. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. A positive, team-oriented attitude and professional appearance. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $15.00/Hr. - $15.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
