About the role:
As a Banquet Chef de Partie at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, you will play a vital role in delivering extraordinary culinary experiences for a variety of events — from elegant weddings and high-profile corporate functions to intimate gatherings. Working within our dynamic Banquets Kitchen, and reporting to the Banquet Sous Chef, you will lead your section with precision and pride, ensuring each dish reflects the Four Seasons commitment to excellence and craftsmanship.
 

What you will do:

Prepare, cook, and present banquet dishes to the highest standards across a range of functionsEnsure all mise en place is ready ahead of service and manage your section efficiently during eventsUphold consistency in presentation, portion control, and quality across all banquet operationsWork closely with the Banquet Sous Chef and kitchen leadership team to execute event menusAssist in mentoring and guiding junior team members to support their growth and performanceMaintain a clean and hygienic work environment in compliance with food safety standardsSupport the control of food costs and wastage through efficient practices and portioning
 

What you bring:

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef within a high-volume or banquet settingStrong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and event service timingA passion for preparing beautiful food with consistency and careExcellent communication and collaboration skills in a team environmentFlexibility to work across a rotating roster, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays

Schedule & Hours:
Full-time position with rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
