DoubleTree by Hilton Crystal City is seeking a passionate Banquet Captain to lead their team! This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to learn and grow in their hospitality career. This 627-room property and 33,316 sq. ft Total Event Space is a half mile south of The Pentagon as well as only three blocks from the Pentagon City Metro station.

The ideal candidate will have minimum of 2-years of experience working in Banquets/Events, has strong leadership skills, is bilingual, and has full availability to work the ever-changing schedule of hospitality. 

\n

Shift Pattern: flexible shifts between the hours of 5:30AM-1AM, with mostly PM shifts, any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed.

Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour, plus service charges.

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Banquet Captain, you would be responsible for overseeing the set-up and clean-up of food and beverage during banquet functions in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nSupervise food and beverage service throughout banquet functions to ensure quality service and product quality\nAssist with the planning, organizing and execution of all banquet functions including, but not limited to, breakfast, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas, etc.\nGreet and welcome client representative and guests, responding to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\nParticipate in and lead department meetings\nProcess banquet checks accurately and efficiently for payment\nEnsure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service\nServe alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations\n
