Our client is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to join the team in Wilmington, Delaware. This role is with a major law firm in Delaware and operates on a hybrid schedule. This role supports a very collaborative team of attorneys and paralegals in Wilmington. A very inclusive culture with extensive benefits.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and notices, for bankruptcy cases.
• File documents electronically using CM/ECF systems for Bankruptcy, District Court, and Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
• Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and assist attorneys in preparing for hearings.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, creditors, and other parties involved in bankruptcy cases.
• Provide support in managing discovery and trial preparation processes.
• Monitor case progress and ensure all filings comply with court requirements.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver high-quality service to clients and co-counsel.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal, with knowledge of Chapters 11 or 7 cases.
• Proficiency in electronic filing systems, including CM/ECF, for Bankruptcy, District Court, Circuit Courts
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Legal Research tools.
