Job Description
One of Insight Globals top clients in the Investment Banking industries is looking for a Banking Operations Associate to sit onsite in New York City. This person will be supporting the bank relationship team within the Asset Management division of the bank. This division manages close to $1trillion in over than 1,000 funds, distributed to clients across their client base. The banking operations associate will be responsible for the total oversight governance framework for fund administrators, custodians, and brokers.
Coverage and oversight of custodian and fund administrators to maximize potential value delivery across the firm
Creating and driving strategic projects for vendors based on divisional and business unit priorities and needs
Assisting with the evaluation, selection, negotiation and onboarding of new vendors and ongoing compliance with Firm vendor policies
Evaluate new business/products/markets and collaborate across teams to represent and drive work streams
Comply with internal risk frameworks and industry regulations to reduce risk and extract maximum value from our global network, connecting with stakeholders to lobby for internal or market change
Detail oriented with the ability to quickly identify and learn pertinent information across wide range of products
Explore solutions that leverage business intelligence, low code automation, industry utilities, and external vendor solutions

Skills and Requirements
- 1-2 years of operational experience within a bank
- Experience working with brokers, custodians, and fund administrators
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Excel - Knowledge of fund products (i.e., mutual funds and alternative investment funds)
- Knowledge of regulatory environments null
