The Universal Teller is an entry-level position responsible for executing branch activities, including the day-to-day delivery of client-facing services, processing transactions, and engaging in sales activities in coordination with the Customer Service function. The overall objective is to utilize banking knowledge and experience to provide high quality customer service and to help the branch generate revenue by delivering optimal solutions.

Responsibilities:

Assist Citi clients in opening new accounts, managing current accounts and resolving complex customer service issuesProvide a range of coverage for branch by assisting with processing transactions at teller window or on mobile platformEducate clients on products and services, and identify banking solutions that may cater to their financial goalsBuild rapport to engage prospects in a banking relationship and enhance existing customer relationshipsManage supervisory responsibilities in managers absence, as neededFulfilling the clients’ necessities while providing an exceptional client experience is the expected behavior from all our employees and it will be measured by specific metrics.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

1 year relevant experienceExperience working in branch servicesWorking knowledge of Office Package Management and WEB toolsFinancial product sales experienceAbility to work well in a team oriented environment


Education:

High School diploma or equivalent
