BANAMEX Finance Information Solutions Specialist – C13

The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Manager is a senior professional position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to manage professional team(s)/department(s) and apply analytical thinking/knowledge of data analysis methodologies to create and analyze reports that gauge Citi’s alignment with forecasted performance.

Responsibilities:

Conduct management activities for a mid-size team such as training, evaluations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination of team membersConduct analysis of Citi’s/Citi’s competitors’ financial performanceGenerate flash results/highlights of analytics for Board of Directors’ reports and Executive Management reportsParticipate in Quarterly Competitor Reviews, Quarterly Annotated Supplement, and Quarterly Investment ReportsDevelop and coordinate performance reporting/processes; reviews results against plans monthlyOversee the estimation of risk capital and incorporate results into management reports and decision processesProvide advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes, and firm/business unit strategyHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.Ability to manage teams. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

6-10 years of relevant experiencePrevious supervisory experienceProficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applicationsEffective verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated presentation skillsDemonstrated analytical skillsDemonstrated organizational and project management skills


Education:

Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferred

About the Job

We are seeking a Vice President to report to FP&A Central Manager.

This individual will support the execution of Finance information Initiatives to enhance finance process related to information for reach Shorten local closing and Setup for IPO needs.

This role will enable data efficiency by implementing financial processes to consolidate financial information from many sources and work with tech team to be sure that solutions are working efficiently aligned with user’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities​

Implement Information processes for data ingestion, processing and consolidations aligned to financial user’s requirementsImplement and supervise ETL processes such as Knime, Tableau Prep, Appian or AB-InitioDefine and implement complex financial workflows in Knime, Tableau Prep, Appian or AB-InitioDefine technical requirements of FP&A tools (visualization software, planning platforms, ERP, databases, etc.)Interacts with key stakeholder groupsDiscover opportunities for Information architecture to improve related speed, availability or qualityMonitor performance information architecturePartner closely with Tech team within an Agile framework

Experience

Proficiency with coding, desirable knowledge of workflow tools (Knime, Appian, Tableau Prep, or AB-Initio)Experience with information cleansing, transformation, and preparationAbility to manage stakeholders’ requirements and knowledge of project pipeline developmentContribute to improving operational efficiency by automating processes and identifying areas for optimizationKnowledge of Data Management and ERP systems with financial focus at least 5 yearsDefining data architecture and integration processesTroubleshoot technical issues and performance optimization

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in financial / mathematics / statistics / computer science related field
