Job Overview

The Engineer Intmd Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and development of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworks.

Responsibilities:

Provide assistance with a product or product component development within the technology domainConduct product evaluations with vendors and recommend product customization for integration with systemsAssist with training activities, mentor junior team members and ensure team’s adherence to all control and compliance initiativesAssist with application prototyping and recommend solutions around implementationProvide third line support to identify the root cause of issues and react to systems and application outages or networking issuesSupport projects and provide project status updates to project manager or Sr. EngineerPartner with development teams to identify engineering requirements and assist with defining application/system requirements and processesCreate installation documentation, training materials, and deliver technical training to support the organizationAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

2-5 years of relevant experience in an Engineering roleExperience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environmentProject Management experienceConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationComprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practicesDemonstrated analytic/diagnostic skillsAbility to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teamsAbility to work independently, prioritize, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiativeAbility to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirementsProven track record of operational process change and improvement

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

RESPONSABILIDADES

Participación en sesiones de planeación con tecnología y negocio, para proyectos que se generan en ambientes de desarrollo.Deberá de revisar y aprobar todas las implementaciones de cualquier cambio requeridas en las plataformas unisys y tandem del ambiente de pruebas.Responsable de proveer efectivamente la utilizacion de recursos de las plataformas unisys y tandem.Asegurar que toda la operacion este en complience y los SLAS (niveles de servicio) que se manejan en el área.Asegurar que todos los controles apropiados estan desarrollados e implementados en los ambientes de UAT.Trabajar en conjunto con las áreas de soporte técnico en todo lo relacionado con las configuraciones de los ambientes.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Supervisar plataformas (Unisys, Tandem en los ambientes UAT) (testing)Coordinar requerimientos a través de tickets de las áreas de ingenería y desarrollo.Supervisar día con día de la operación, tanto línea como batch que se opera en estos equipos de la plataforma de pruebas.Ingles básico-IntermedioLiderazgo de equipos (Management)

REQUISITOS

Conocimientos en operación y tecnología enfocados al área de testing.Experiencia 2 a 3 años en áreas de unisys y tandem.Experiencia con service nowSólida experiencia en ambientes similaresConocimiento básico  en finanzasExperiencia en liderazgo de equipos (1-3 años)Disponibilidad de horario: Tres turnos Mañana/tarde/noche - Descansos viernes y sábado/ Sábado domingo / Domingo y LunesLicenciatura / Ingenería finalizada o experiencia equivalente.
