SummaryThe Bacteriology Lab Coordinator will be responsible for collecting and preparing product samples for microbiological analysis.
There are two plant facilities that make up the Moses Lake Production Campus. The selected candidate for this role will begin their training at one of these facilities and then will be assigned to one of the two locations after training is complete.
Key Responsibilities Collects and prepares product samples for microbiological analysis. Documents sample ID and microorganism growth results. Promptly communicates findings that fall outside allowable limits. Responsible for inventory of micro lab supplies. Stores and maintains retention samples. Reconciliation of daily micro log with the inventory system to ensure all production samples are plated. Manage positive release of product in inventory system. Samples purchased products (micro-testing and grading). Other duties assigned by department management. Typical Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Relevant Experience 1+ years related experience and/or training Other Information Basic math skills Good knowledge of computer systems and calculator Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments Good communication skills Needs to be organized, efficient, and have Good time manJob Requisition ID: 22689
