100% REMOTE opportunity. We are seeking a skilled and collaborative software engineer to join our agile development team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable APIs and responsive applications, while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across our systems.
Responsibilities:Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Design, develop, and maintain APIs for:Customer onboardingAccount managementHospital/partner integrationsCGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) data exchangeEnsure APIs are scalable, low-latency, and fault-tolerant.Build responsive front-end and back-end applications using modern frameworks and technologies such as Spring Boot, Node.js, and Express.Work with databases including:NoSQL: Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDBRDBMS: MySQL, PostgreSQL, OracleWrite and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using JUnit, Mocha, and Karma.Develop web applications using Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks.Design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design, development, testing, and quality control.Ensure code quality through continuous testing and code reviews.Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Use orchestration tools like Kubernetes (K8s) and Helm for managing containerized applications.Implement and manage authentication and authorization using OAuth, OpenID, and SSO.Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.Automate build, test, and deployment processes for rapid and reliable software delivery.Monitor and optimize performance of data pipelines and APIs.Identify and resolve bottlenecks to ensure high availability and responsiveness.Document API specifications, design decisions, and development processes.Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to gather requirements and provide technical support.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
