Kforce has a client in need of a Backend Java Developer in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilites: * Develop and maintain backend systems using Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, and design patterns * Build RESTful APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications * Write unit tests using JUnit and manage deployments with Maven and Jenkins * Work with Oracle RDBMS: SQL queries, stored procedures * Deploy and configure Tomcat servers and standalone Java batch apps * Use IntelliJ/Eclipse, Git/BitBucket for development and version control * Operate in Unix/Linux environments and distributed system architectures * Collaborate in Agile teams using Scrum/Kanban and JIRA * Communicate effectively across teams and document backend processes
