Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring that invoices are paid accurately, timely and in accordance with company procedures and policies. You will maintain the electronic recordkeeping system for storage of invoices in accordance with internal audi t guidelines. You will file freight claims. You will invoice our customers as soon as the material is shipped. You will be primary responder for inbound phone calls in a low-volume location.
Reports to: Profit Center Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Proficient in using computers and common office software programs
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Familiarity with back-office procedures
Working Conditions:
This is an in-person position.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Essential Job Functions:
+ Monitor DL 4422 AP email, sending vendor and expense invoices to appropriate central inboxes
+ Use web login for certain expense invoices, downloading appropriate PDF from portal and processing upon receipt of email
+ Discern which payables require Check Requests and process appropriately
+ Maintain electronic filing system to store vendor and expense invoices in accordance with internal audit guidelines
+ Process Expense batches per payables calendar (& GL account list)
+ Pay FedEx Freight and Ground invoices on FedEx portals (regular cadence)

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $23 to $28 hourly.
