Back-end Software Engineer (Ali Cloud/Micro Service/AI Agent))

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

Helps translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications or user stories.Designs, develops, tests, and deploys back-end functionality and components.Writes clear, readable and maintainable code, and take ownership of the quality and usability of code.Optimizes back-end systems for performance and efficiency.Integrates back-end systems with third-party applications through API development and data exchange.Develops and maintains RESTful APIs and microservices.Troubleshoots and resolves back-end system issues through database optimization and the implementation of efficient data structures and algorithms.Documents code and technical processes.Upholds software development leading practices, including writing clean and extensive code.Performs peer reviews of code / deliverables and analysis for continuous learning and continuous improvement.Stays up-to-date with the latest back-end technologies and trends and continuously improves skills and competency.Ensures data is properly stored and easily retrievable through the design and implementation of data models and the optimization of database performance.Ensures the protection and authentication of sensitive data by implementing security mechanisms.


Job Requirements:

Knowledge in developing cloud-based applicationsExperience with back-end technologies and/or back-end frameworksProficiency in programming and scripting languages commonly used for back-end developmentExperience with RESTful APIs and conceptsProficiency in fundamental web technologiesFamiliarity with designing, building, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining code in multi-service architectureExperience with CI/CD tools and deploying code to productionUnderstand cloud fundamentals

Leads projects or work streams independently and contributes to their planningMay act as professional expertise information resource for colleagues in own area, advising on a particular topic with a degree of authorityRequires advanced problem-solving skills involving filtering, interpretation and validation of dynamic informationWorks independently, receives minimal guidanceMay coordinate resources for a small team and contribute to the effectiveness of their contributions to the broader area
