Area Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will perform various marketing analyses to enable marketing strategy development for existing and potential products, systems and/or services. You will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.The work model for the role is: #Li - Onsite.This role is contributing to the IEC Low Voltage Motors Division in Peenya, Bangalore.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCollects data and provides sound market and competitive intelligence analyses related to market and local/country trends. •\tParticipates with management to contribute to strategic plans definition and supports relevant implementation.•\tPrepares analyses of internal sales, technical and financial data, and external market data.•\tInterprets resulting data and makes recommendations to marketing and sales management.•\tBuilds sales analyses regarding channels, segments, geographic areas, customers, products, systems, and services.•\tInforms management of market research and analysis results that identify existing gaps or new opportunities for growth.•\tExtracts and analyzes data from sales/financial tools to measure effectiveness of current marketing activities and provides updates to management.•\tAssists in the development of marketing tools to support Marketing and Sales teams.•\tTrains sales personnel on proper use of sales tracking system (i.e. SFDC) and monitors

Qualifications for the role

BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering. 5+ years of experience in working with motors, including Industrial LV Motors, Induction Motors etc. Strong technical background in motors with a deep understanding of their applications. Ability to provide back-end technical support for sales teams. Knowledge of motor specifications, performance parameters, and industry standards. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
