Key Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out modifications and maintenance in accordance with approved drawings and maintenance data, taking full accountability for the technical integrity of all work performed. All tasks will be assigned by the Lead Technician or B1 Engineer. You will be expected to provide regular updates on any issues affecting the work plan, including proposed solutions or recommendations where applicable. Any unsafe conditions must be promptly reported to the Lead Technician or B1 Engineer, as well as through the appropriate internal reporting channels.
• Complete strip/removal of minor and major aircraft equipment.
• Interpret technical manuals, technical drawings, and regulatory requirements.
• Installation of complex mechanical assemblies
• Support aircraft system testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain the highest standards of tool control within the work area.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Skills and Abilities
• Completed an engineering apprenticeship- ideally in Aeronautical engineering or military equivalent
• Ideally 2 years live aircraft Mechanical experience
• Previous aircraft production experience.
• Previous aircraft modification experience is advantageous
• Excellent hand skills
• Attention to detail
• Eligible to work and live in the UK
• Subject to UK security Vetting
• Excellent knowledge of Mechanical systems

• Good interpersonal skills
